We are thrilled to announce the winner of the HayCo Pride Logo Contest! After receiving numerous incredible submissions from talented designers in our community, one design stood out for its creativity, vibrancy, and ability to capture the essence of HayCo Pride. Congratulations to Bellamy Crawford for their outstanding work!
Meet the Designer: Bellamy Crawford
Bellamy Crawford, a passionate and talented designer, created a logo that embodies the spirit of love, unity, and inclusivity that HayCo Pride stands for. Their design features mountains, stars, and rainbows symbolizing our mountains here in WNC, the pride flag with POC and Trans colors, and a cohesive design that embodies our vision.
Bellamy Crawford is a creative marketing and fund development professional who has worked for and fallen in love with several nonprofits in WNC over the past 12 years. They are passionate about social justice, Black Lives, and queer, trans, and reproductive rights. They believe in the very real potential for positive social change through community-centric programs that elevate Black, Brown, and Indigenous voices. They spend most of their free time painting, reading, napping, playing with their two amazing kids, or trying to finish the sci-fi novel they started when they were twelve.
The Winning Design
The vibrant colors and thoughtful elements of this logo perfectly capture the energy and spirit of HayCo Pride. This design will be proudly displayed on all our promotional materials, including t-shirts, banners, and other marketing materials, as we gear up for the inaugural HayCo Pride Queer Celebration on October 5th, 2024, at Hart Theater.
